Viewing Your Own Private Memorials When a memorial is marked as private, it is hidden from public visitors. However, the memorial owner can continue to access and manage the memorial while signed in to their Aftir account. Accessing a Private Memorial To view a private memorial: 1. Sign in to your Aftir account. 2. Open your Memorials Overview page. 3. Select the memorial you would like to view or edit. Private memorials will remain visible to you even though they are hidden from other visitors. Why Use a Private Memorial? Users keep memorials private while: * Creating the memorial for the first time * Storing personal and private memories * Adding photos and videos * Writing a biography * Reviewing information for accuracy * Deciding whether to share the memorial publicly A memorial can remain private for as long as you choose. Making a Memorial Public If you decide to share the memorial with others: 1. Open the memorial editor. 2. Select **Page Settings**. 3. Enable publishing or public visibility. 4. Save your changes. Once published, visitors will be able to access the memorial using its direct link, QR code, or shared content. Need Help?
