Public vs Private Memorials Aftir allows you to choose whether a memorial is public or private. This setting determines who can view the memorial. Public Memorials Public memorials can be viewed by anyone who has access to the memorial's link. Public memorials may also be shared through: * Social media * Email * QR codes * Direct links Public memorials are the best choice when you want others to easily discover and visit a memorial. Private Memorials Private memorials are only visible to the memorial owner while signed in to their account. Private memorials are often used when: * A memorial is still being created * Information is incomplete * Content is being reviewed before publication * The memorial is intended for personal use only Private memorials can be made public at any time. Changing Memorial Visibility To change a memorial's visibility: 1. Open the memorial editor. 2. Select **Page Settings**. 3. Locate the visibility or publication setting. 4. Save your changes.
