Memorial URLs and QR Codes

Each memorial on Aftir has its own unique web address that can be shared with others. In addition to sharing a memorial through its web link, Aftir also allows you to generate a QR code that takes visitors directly to the memorial page. To generate a QR code: 1. Open the memorial in the editor. 2. Select the QR Code tab. 3. Generate your memorial QR code. 4. Download the QR code image for printing or sharing. When someone scans the QR code with a smartphone, they are taken directly to the memorial page. QR codes can be used on: • Funeral programs • Celebration of Life materials • Memorial cards • Printed keepsakes • Family history projects • Other memorial materials QR codes provide a simple way to connect physical remembrance materials with a digital memorial, allowing visitors to access photos, videos, stories, and memories with a single scan. You can generate and download a memorial QR code at any time through the memorial editor.
