Future Messages
Future Messages and Trusted Contacts
Trusted Contacts play an important role in protecting Future Messages that are intended for delivery after your passing.
When you create a message that uses an after-passing delivery option, Aftir requires passing confirmation before the message becomes eligible for release.
This confirmation process helps prevent accidental or unauthorized delivery.
Depending on your settings, one, two, or all three verified Trusted Contacts may be required to confirm your passing before after-passing messages can proceed.
Trusted Contacts do not have access to your private messages and cannot edit their contents. Their role is simply to participate in the confirmation process when required.
Messages scheduled for delivery after passing remain securely stored until all confirmation requirements have been satisfied.
Once confirmation requirements have been met, Aftir follows the delivery schedule associated with the message.
Using Trusted Contacts helps ensure that your Future Messages are delivered according to your wishes and at the appropriate time.
