Creating and Managing Time Capsules

Time Capsules are created and managed through the Time Capsules section of the My Legacy Builder. Each capsule can be customized with its own content, release schedule, visibility settings, and capsule type. Whether you want something displayed immediately or saved for future discovery, Aftir gives you complete control. Creating a Time Capsule To create a capsule: 1. Open My Legacy Builder. 2. Select Time Capsules. 3. Click Create New Capsule. 4. Choose the capsule type. 5. Enter your content and settings. 6. Save the capsule. Once saved, your capsule can be edited, updated, or removed at any time. Capsule Types Aftir currently supports several capsule types: • Standard Capsules • Prediction Capsules • Physical Capsules • Favorites Capsules • Things We Used To Have Capsules Each type is designed for a different purpose and may include specialized fields related to that capsule. Display Options When creating a capsule, you can choose whether it should: • Appear on your My Legacy page immediately. • Remain hidden until a future release date. • Remain hidden until after your passing. If you choose to display a capsule immediately, visitors can view it as part of your My Legacy page. If you choose a future release option, the capsule will remain hidden until its scheduled release occurs. Future Release Options Future release capsules can be scheduled in several ways: • Specific date and time • Immediately after passing confirmation • 30 days after passing • 1 year after passing • 5 years after passing • 10 years after passing • 25 years after passing • 50 years after passing • 100 years after passing • A custom number of days after passing These options allow you to decide exactly when future generations will discover your capsule. Visibility Settings You can also control how long a capsule remains visible after release. Options may include: • Permanent visibility • 30 days • 1 year • 10 years • 50 years • A custom hide date This allows some capsules to become permanent parts of your legacy while others are only available for a limited time. Photos and Videos Standard Capsules and Things We Used To Have Capsules can include photos and videos. Media can be uploaded directly to the capsule and becomes part of the capsule experience when it is viewed. Editing Existing Capsules All saved capsules appear in your Time Capsule list within the Builder. Selecting a capsule loads it into the editor, where you can: • Update content • Change release settings • Add or remove media • Modify visibility settings • Delete the capsule Your capsules remain editable until they are released, giving you the flexibility to continue refining them over time.
