Adding Photos and Videos to Time Capsules

Photos and videos can make a Time Capsule much more personal and meaningful. Aftir allows media uploads for Standard Time Capsules and Things We Used To Have Capsules. These media files become part of the capsule and are displayed when the capsule is viewed after release. Adding Media to a Capsule To add photos or videos: 1. Open the Time Capsule you want to edit. 2. Scroll to the media upload section. 3. Select one or more photos or videos from your device. 4. Save the capsule. Uploaded media will be stored with the capsule and released according to the capsule's release settings. When Media Becomes Visible Media follows the same release schedule as the capsule itself. If the capsule is displayed on your My Legacy page immediately, the media will be visible immediately. If the capsule is scheduled for future release, all associated media will remain hidden until the capsule is released. Supported Capsule Types Media uploads are currently supported for: • Standard Time Capsules • Things We Used To Have Capsules Prediction Capsules, Favorites Capsules, and Physical Capsules focus primarily on written content and do not currently support media attachments. Updating or Removing Media Media can be added, removed, or replaced at any time before the capsule is released. This allows you to continue improving your capsule, adding additional memories, or replacing older files as your collection grows. Tips for Better Capsules Photos often help provide context and preserve memories that written descriptions alone cannot capture. Consider including family photos, historical images, scanned documents, memorabilia, videos, or other visual content that helps tell the story behind the capsule. The combination of written stories and media can create a richer experience for future generations discovering your Time Capsules.
