Chloe was meant to be with me. When I first met her, I had no intention of getting a dog — I was only stopping by to look at the puppies. But the moment I walked into the kennel area, she ran straight up to me and climbed up my leg. I picked her up, and instantly knew she was my dog.
Chloe was everything anyone could ever want in a dog. She was fun, loving, and full of personality, yet also a fearless protector of everyone and everything that mattered to me. She was a rock star — always the life of the party whenever she was with me at gatherings.
Cancer took her from me after only 10 short years. I still feel like I was robbed of so many more good times with my Chloegirl.
The Protector
Chloe always watched out for me and everyone close to me. One time while I was out of town for the day, someone tried to break into my house. They broke the door down but Chloe wdid not let them in the house.
Favorite Stories
One of my favorite memories of Chloe was when I came home on Chrstmas Eve and found the toy that I had wrapped and put under the tree for her was open and laying by the door. I wondered how she knew which present was hers. Then I went into the living room and saw that she had opened up all the presents that were under the tree. Merry Christmas Chloe!
