Cathy Baker, 68, of Goshen, Indiana, passed away on September 29, 2026. Born February 4, 1958, in Elkhart, Indiana, Cathy made her home in Goshen.
She attended Goshen High School and later studied nursing at Ivy Tech. Cathy worked as a nurse at Goshen Hospital, bringing her hardworking and energetic nature to a career of caring for others.
Family was the most important thing to Cathy. She enjoyed baking, traveling, skiing, and spending time with her family. Known for being spunky and energetic, she was also a prayer warrior who lived by the words, “You've got to do what you've got to do whether you like it or not.”
Cathy is survived by her husband, Jim, and her children, Michael and June. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Betty Miller.
A celebration of life will be held Saturday, October 3, 2026, from 2 to 4 p.m. at Eastwood Chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to Ryan's Place at www.ryansplace.com. Acknowledgments are extended to the doctors, nurses, and Wakarusa Missionary Church.
